Using Math to Explore Space :

There are many places to explore in space. Using space ships, satellites, robots, cameras, and people to record data and explore different plants and solar systems, scientists have discovered many things including planets, comets, star systems, and many other items. Using math to gauge how far away they are and how fast they are moving is only one way that math can help unlock the mysteries of the universe. Math is used to build machines that can help explore places where there is no oxygen. Math is also used to help build rockets that can bring people to new areas of space. Seeing through the eyes of a satellite can give scientists a lot of information.
Space exploration is a hobby for some and a career for others. Many people who own telescopes use math to find different stars and planets. They use math to find other items in the sky as well. Today the technology is advanced and scientists can see much more than they did in the past. It is important to calculate and record items that have been found accurately so that they can be found again. If they have moved, scientists are also curious about how much and the reasons behind the objects movement. Math can help solve all of these questions and more. Scientists will always be looking to the sky when they want a new project or to discover a new comet or planet. Research and data recording are the only ways to accomplish this and earn recognition along the way.
